Handy Guide To Picking Your Team  

Picking your Kwanza Crawl team when there are so many options can be confusing. We put together a quick guide to help you figure it out. 

Do you: 

  • Know which bar you want to head to right after the kick-off? Pick any team that starts there. 

  • Know the team leader you’d like to follow for the night? That's the team to choose.  

  • Want a special experience team? Boom. Choose that. Here's the list for 2025:

  • Know what neighborhood you wanna check out but not pressed about the rest? Pick the Wildcard ticket for that neighborhood. 

  • Wanna Crawl but the bank acct giving you side-eye? Wildcard tickets are budget-friendly, so side-eye your bank account right back. 

  • Just wanna get in where you fit in? Literally just pick a team. It’s hard to have a bad time at Kwanzaa Crawl. 

Pro Tip: If you’re crawling with friends, be sure to select the same team. Double-check the number and letter if there is one. 

Teams fill up fast, and we cannot add people to sold out teams. (team size is determined by venue capacity, ignoring that capacity is unsafe, illegal, and causes wrinkles.)

Ticket Type Glossary

  • Divine 9: Team for members of D9 Sororities and Fraternities 

  • Stay & Play: Team that spends the Crawl in a single location like a day party. 

  • Squad Deal: A group purchase of 15 or more tickets, eligible for a discount. 

  • Wildcard: A budget-friendly ticket to the Crawl. Just pick the neighborhood you want to crawl through, and we’ll place you on a team ourselves!
