FAQS

    • Or maybe it is! 2021 reloaded means that we want to keep the integrity of the December event as much as possible. Yes, some things have changed - but we'll try as much as possible to keep most things the same.

    • That means the same team leaders leading the same teams at pretty much the same venues, and at registration - y’all gonna get them same ass 2021 cups. A few venues have been added to replace the ones that are not a part of the May event, so a limited number of tickets will be placed on sale.

  • There will be a very limited number of new tickets available for sale on April 17. Teams that were sold out in December are still sold out, so if you can grab a ticket, get it. You’ll link up with your friends on other teams during the crawl one way or the other.

  • We love y’all and we definitely heard y’all, but with an event like this - there are tons of factors that have to be taken into consideration.

    Here are just a few:

#1 Kwanzaa Crawl is one of the last events of the year, which means we’re also the last event to reach out to our event partners for a rescheduled date. We ain’t pick this date. This date picked us.

#2 There are a ton of other dope NYC events for Juneteenth. Those annual events count on you for your support, as well. Kwanzaa is about bringing the collective together, not dividing up all of our friends and forcing them to choose. We like to spread love. It's the Brooklyn way!

#3 The second principle of Kwanzaa is Kujichagulia which means that we define ourselves for ourselves. We have the freedom to celebrate our Blackness all throughout the calendar year, and not just on a few designated days or one designated month. (We’re looking at you, February.) Any day is a great day to be Black and alive - with that in mind, May 22 is just a good a day as any.

  • Absolutely. The pop up shop will be open on May 14th and 15th, during registration.

  • Kwanzaa Crawl 2021 Reloaded is a rain or shine event, so plan accordingly.
